Over the years, Glass Alchemy has donated glass to classes and events as a way to help offset costs and contribute to the development of the borosilicate glass industry.  As a way to continue distributing donations and enable the borosilicate industry to have a positive impact on our local communities, our new donation policy is focused specifically on events that raise money for charitable organizations.

 

In order to submit a donation request, please review the donation criteria and provide all requested information.  If requested information is not included in the request, the request will not be evaluated or processed.  

 

Glass Alchemy is excited to concentrate our donation efforts around charities so that we can participate in making our world a better place. Once your event is concluded, we kindly request that you let us know how much your fundraiser was able to raise in support of your charity.

 

Donation Criteria:

A formal donation request must be submitted and an established charity must benefit from the event

 

An organization is limited to one donation receipt within a 12-month period

 

Glass Alchemy can not make donations to individuals or for-profit businesses

 

Glass Alchemy does not provide monetary donations.

 

How to Submit a Donation Request:

Provide name and date of event

 

Provide name and mission of charity

 

Provide details on how the charity will benefit. i.e. will pieces be auctioned off and donated, is there a requested entry donation...

 

Provide estimated fundraising goal

 

Preferred product, amount and description of anticipated use

 

Identify your deadline and allow 4 weeks for processing

Misioneros Del Camino
Misioneros Del Camino in Guatemala is home to 100 children spanning all age groups. In 2002 Minson escuela de vidrio was established to teach lampworking to the children at the Mission. Glass Alchemy has provided the school with glass since 2004. is a non-profit organization established in 2002. Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is a resilience-based intervention designed to support and strengthen the protective resources in children when coping with serious illness. Through the program, children tell their story using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage that commemorate milestones they have achieved along their unique treatment path.
